Beşiktaş'ta Jean Tigana fena kızdı. Fransız hocayı küplere bindiren olay, 4 büyük kulübün sponsoru Cola Turka'nın önceki gün düzenlenen gecesi nedeniyle yaşandı. Olayın şöyle geliştiği öğrenildi: Menajer Ali Gültiken günler öncesinden belli olan Cola Turka gecesini teknik direktör Jean Tigana'ya önceki gün akşam saatlerinde söyledi. İdmanda bu daveti duyan Fransız teknik adam "Bu şimdi mi söylenir? Takım elbise giymek, hazırlanmak gerekir. Siz zaten hem beni istemiyorsunuz hem de Beşiktaş'ı temsil etmemi" diye çok sert çıktı. Davetin kendisine çok geç yapılmasına sinirlenen Tigana bu nedenle geceye katılmadı.
